February has come to an end. I must say that since starting this diet on the 4th of this month, I really feel good about myself right now. Although, I don't know the official number of how much weight I have lost so far or whether I achieved my weight goal for this month, but I do know that I did lose some. I'm also proud of how motivated I have been throughout the process, even though I slipped only a few times, but I got right back up and on track. And I also must admit that it has been really really hard too. When going places, I have to stop to McDonalds and get the kids something to eat. But, I maintained not one time did I order me some food from a fast food place. Yayyy me!!!! I also haven't been drinking cold drinks nor eating snacks. Yayyy me again!!! I just pray and hope I can keep it up throughout my journey of losing weight.

3am and I'm still up
Well for some reason I am still up at 3am. I usually don't go to bed early anyway.
Earlier I had weighed myself on the scale and it was at 255lbs. I did it like four times and it still showed the same number but I know my scale be tripping at times. So, about an hour later I did it and it showed 257lbs. I soooo hate this scale. But, I really have to stop weighing myself throughout the week. I won't get on the scale anymore until my weigh in days. Pinky promise hopefully lol.
Here is my stat for today (well yesterday lol):

and I also did for the first time, 3 miles with Walk Away the Pounds dvd
Since I knew my mom had bought the Walk away the Pounds dvd months ago, I asked her for it and decided to give it a try. I don't know if it actually works or helps out, but I'mma give it a try for a while and see. I don't know if I will actually stick with it though.
As you all might know or if I haven't told you all, I really really hate water. So, I am trying to make myself drink more and more water. If I drink just a glass a day, I'm happy because I never drink water which is not good. It makes my stomach hurt and I feel full. But, I do notice that soon as I finish exercising, I don't have any problems drinking water. I actually be wanting a taste of it.
Oh & I guess you see that I updated the look on the blog finally. I'll be adding some more stuff and will probably change the look again later on. But, for now this will do.
Well, I guess I'll try and go to sleep now!!!!!

Thursday 2/25 WEIGH IN :(
Well, just like I predicted my weight was going to be......it is. I'm a little upset, so I guess I have to work extra extra extra harder now.
The scale I have is so ticky. But, I am going to say my weigh in is 259lbs. When I first got on the scale, it showed 259 but later on when I got on there it showed 257, then I tried it again later that day & it showed 258....and when I did it again, it showed 259. So, yeah I'm a little confuse as to what my actual weigh in is but I'm just gonna go with 259 and especially since I feel like I haven't lost anything. So, I only lost like 3 or 4 pounds this past week, which sucks!!!!!
I'm trying to stay motivated and I know I can't rush the process, but sometimes I just feel like giving up. Then as I look in the mirror, I don't see any changes in my appearance. The results aren't showing. I have lost weight but it doesn't even feel like it or look like it to me. When I first started the weight loss process, I was losing weight good but now it seems like the process has slowed down a lot. ugh!!!!
I'mma try to increase my exercising and see if that will help. I need to do something to work the upper part of my body before I end up small at the bottom and big at the top lol.

February 24th Update
Well, tomorrow is Thursday.....yeah another weigh in. I am so upset with myself because I don't think I will meet my weekly goal tomorrow, which is 5lbs per week. Just Monday, when I weighed myself I was at 261. So, I went to go take the GRE test on yesterday and I ate a small bowl of cereal that morning so my stomach wouldn't be growling lol. Well, when I got home and got on the scale, it was at 262. That made me very upset, so I started working a little extra hard, which I am very proud of myself for increasing my workout a bit.But, the biggest thing I need to stop doing is constantly getting on the scale and just get on the scale for my weigh in. So, I'm trying and haven't been on the scale since yesterday before my workout.
Anyway, here are my stats:

Yes, I walked 3 miles on the treadmill yesterday and today. It took a lot for me to push myself to do it, but I'm very happy that I did.
I'm guessing my weight will be at 258 or 259 tomorrow, which means I will have to work extra extra hard for the following week and especially with next Wednesday being my 1st Weight appointment at the clinic. I was really hoping I could get down to at least 250 before my appointment but I'll be happy at 255. And I'm also worried that the weight difference at the clinic will be different than what I'm scaling at home. I hope the scales aren't that much big of a difference. I mean I'm showing 262 but when I go to the clinic will their scale read 270 or something??? I hope not.

February 21, 2010 (Sorry for the lateness)
I apologize for not being consistent with the blog updating. I'll try to at least update 3-4 times per week hopefully.
Ok, I'm still dieting and things have been going pretty well with the exception of me eating (lol):
-grits, eggs, sausage one morning
-slice of cake, 3 meatballs & 5 sliced sausages....it was for my sons birthday
-2 small pieces of fish & a few crawfish
-slice of pizza
-some cooked okra
And after I ate, I felt so miserable because I felt like I was doing so good and I had to work extra hard to try and get some of those calories off. But, it also wasn't so bad because other days I didn't eat so it may have balanced out a tad bit.
Anyway, I am going back to trying not to eat anything. I've noticed my body still hasn't fully adjusted to resisting food. When I eat one thing, it makes me crave for something else. So, until my body is fully committed I don't think I need to be eating anything heavy.

Now, remember when I first went to the clinic, their scale was showed 283lbs. So, a couple days after starting my diet, I went and bought a digital scale. When I stepped on my digital scale for a start number, it showed 273lbs.
I weigh myself every Thursday and my goal is to lose at least 5 pounds per week.
So, like 3 or 4 days later after that, my first personal weigh in was on 2/11 and it was 268lbs. My goal for that following week was to reach 263lbs.
My second weigh in was on 2/18 and it was 262lbs but that same day I ate something so it was 263lbs. So, I did meet my goal. For next week, my goal is 257lbs.
I have like 10 days left until I go back to the clinic on March 3. It would be nice if I could get down to 250 before my appointment, but I don't think that will happen but I hope I get close.
Oh and on Tuesday, I have a 4 hour test to take so I will definitely have to eat something that morning so my stomach doesn't be growling lol. I'll probably eat a bowl of cereal thats it. That'll be the only day I eat.

2/8/10 WL Update
Today I went and brought a digital scale from walmart and also a waist trimmer belt.
Ok, on 2/6 I took my Adipex pill, did not eat anything, and did 35 minutes (1.501 dist & 246 cal) on the treadmill plus 1053 (150 cal) on the air climber.
2/7
I took my pill as usual. But, I was very upset with myself this day. I'm from Louisiana and right now its crawfish season and yes I'm a crawfish junkie lol. So, I kept smelling that seasoning and just couldn't resist. I've also heard that crawfish isn't so fattening. But, I ended up eating some crawfish. Then on top of that, my mother had barbequed, so yes I ended up eating some barbeque. I ate a piece of chicken and patty, some baked beans and a about a scoop of macaroni. But, I still did my 30 minutes on the treadmill (1.198 dist & 200 cal) plus my 1053 (150 cal).
Since I ate this day, I will do an extra set of exercising before Thursday.

Took pill, did 30 minutes on the treadmill (1.211 dist & 201 cal) plus my 1050 (150 cal) steps on the air climber.
My personal weigh ins will be every Thursday. But, this week it will be hard for me to tell how much I have actually lost. The regular scale I got on it seems like its off. The start of my Journey to Losing Weight!! (brief intro)
After having two kids, I just gained weight and more weight and more weight. I am now ready to take control and be able to live a healthy life. So, here is the start of my journey to losing weight. My ultimate weight goal is to lose 118 lbs.
I went to Rapid Weight Loss Clinic for the first time on (Wednesday)February 3, 2010 and the doctor prescribed me Adipex. I took them in the past and didn’t have any problems. When I got home I didn’t take any pills that day. I decided to start the next day.
So, the next day, which is 2/4, I took my first Adipex pill before 12pm. I did not eat anything that day and nor was I hungry and I also did not exercise. I did feel a little funny and my vision felt kind of heavy like.
